According to your questions, so far I haven't involved the Greater China Office recruitments. To my knowledge of American offices, different offices have different recruitment procedures, especially the final round. Different offices have different cultures. Culture fit-in is paramount importance whether you can flourish there or not
Beyond other top-tier firms, Mckinsey is looking for innovative strategic approaches and looking much further ahead. Finding the answer is important. Finding a way to present is even more important. Otherwise it is hard to understand, and then you’ve lost all your hard work. In additional, since firm is striving to secure repeat businesses, how to make the client relationships as collaborative as possible is extremely important.
The preparation of different positions at Mckinsey, such as analysts, consultants and engagement managers, are quite different. It also depends on your own background, such as do you hold MBA or APD? Are you an off-cycle candidate?
Due your diligence, be prepared to one of the most grueling interviews. During interviews, just be yourself, relaxed, act sophisticatedly and speak articulately.
