Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
• Engineering degree with 5 years experience in civil ,chemical or environmental engineering
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience in landfill systems or similar commercial engineering work
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Commitment to teamwork and provision of high quality service

• Strong English skills
The prime aim of the role will be to direct and manage the landfill in line with *** Environmental Services’ values so as to meet financial and strategic corporate objections.
The key accountabilities will include:
To plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of the business to optimize profitability, growth and return on investment within the safety and environmental parameters of *** Environmental systems:
• managing the costs and profits of the existing businesses on the site;
• ensuring compliance with company policy, statutory requirements and the law;
• maintaining best practices and a high environmental standards;
• ensuring the provision of appropriate physical and human resources;
• establishing long term business plans and budgets;
• ensuring optimum use of company capital and assets;
• establishing representation with key customers and regulatory authorities;
• developing growth strategies and identifying new treatment technology opportunities;
• investigating and evaluating new technologies and potential process in line with the existing business;
• keeping abreast with new technology and implementing innovative methods and systems;
• providing solutions to specific projects as and when required;
• treating people honestly and fairly
