◇Sr. System/Algorithm Engineer leader --Shenzhen(China)/Shanghai(China)/San Diego(USA)/Dallas(USA) -can choose any location
Responsibilities:
As a technical expert, to guide the team:
-To perform baseband algorithm identification, low power system level design and performance simulation for WCDAM/HSDPA mobile terminal chipsets
-To create the design specifications for DSP and ASIC implementation
-To define test cases and provide test vectors for deign verification
Requirements:
-Solid layer 1 algorithm theory in wireless mobile communication systems of GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/CDMA2000/TD-SCDMA, understanding of 3G UMTS L2/3 protocols is an advantage;
-Specialty in channel estimation, equalization, timing track, blind detection, QPSK/8PSK/16QAM modulation, Viterbi & Turbo encoding/decoding, RAKE receiver finger management, transmission power control, and power saving mode design etc. is preferred;
-Hands on experience with COSSAP/SPW based system modeling and simulation, be able to perform floating point and bit-true simulation for algorithm optimization and support ASIC verification;
-Basic knowledge in both hardware and software, need to work closely across RF/ASIC/Software/Firmware teams;
-Leadership in tracking and interpreting 3GPP specification;
-5+ relevant years in wireless industry
