Requirements:
· Experience within a change role as a Business Analyst in Taiwan investment banking operations.
· Fixed Income product knowledge gained working within a line or project role, specifically in settlements, regulatory reporting and confirmations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to tailor to a broad range of audience seniorities with confidence.
· Must be bilingual in English and local Taiwan language. By local Taiwan language we mean Mandarin, but this candidate must understand local IT and business terminology (in Taiwan Mandarin).
· Excellent organisational skills enabling the candidate to track and communicate the progress of a number of change projects.
· Excellent team working and client relationship skills (not necessarily external clients) as well as ability to manage & supervise software vendors who will supply the solution(s).
· Ability to travel to and work in Taiwan and China (visa-ready).
Job Responsibilities:
· Work closely with project managers, lead developers and business users to formulize a business idea and define requests.
· Interview business users, subject matter experts and technology resources to elicit requirements.
· Analyse gathered requirements data, verify requirements and create a Business Functional Description (BRD) and obtain approvals from all involved stakeholders.
· Work with Development and QA teams (both in-house and vendors) to transition business requirements into their respective parts of the development process.
· Work with subject matter experts to produce relevant artifacts (e.g. process flow charts, architectural diagrams, and design documents).
· Create user documentation such as user guides, quick reference guides, and release notes.
· Create functional & technical documentation such as functional specifications, use cases & other UML based diagrams.
General Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analysis supporting Fixed Income operations.
· Fixed Income market knowledge and a strong familiarity with trading, trading workflows and trading technology is essential.
· Exposure to Business Process Modeling would be an added benefit.
· Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
