Summary Description

This position is a Solution Presales consultant within our company, Eastern China. This is a client-facing position having accountability for client expectations management while delivering the services and solutions associated with our Data Warehouse offerings.

Key Areas of Responsibility

 Focus on providing presales support as well as implementation of data warehouse solutions utilizing Teradata, and related technology products including BI and ETL tools and external systems such as mainframes and UNIX servers. Provide data warehouse consulting services, thought leadership, technical and industry expertise to Teradata clients.
 Demonstrate knowledge of data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning.
 Prepare user manual, technical documentations, training material and conducting user trainings
 Engage in pre-sales activities e.g. preparing proposals and carry out presentations
 Works independently.
 Participates in customer and team relationship building.
 Requires 70% to 80% travel with schedules determined by specific customer demand.

Basic Qualifications
 Bachelors Degree
 5+ years experience in Data Warehouse implementation as well as solution sales support
 At least one of Telco fix line /Mobile industries presale/solution support/project implementation experience for above 5 years, be deeply familiar with at least one domain of BASS/EDA etc.
 Proficient in Data Warehousing as well as Business Intelligence, and strong knowledge on data modeling
 Knowledge in data mining , statistical modeling and precision marketing consulting will be a definite advantage
 Knowledge in RDBMS and SQL
 Excellent communication and writing skills
