Nice touch. I envy you, I don't have that kind of luck. My people needs lots of experience and training. My customer, most of them are professors or scientists with big ego, would not talk to a "salesman" in great patiente, we all have to disguise ourselves to be someone else, my title on my business is "senior staff scientist". My people has titles like "service engineer", "application scientist" etc. etc. There is no way to pay them peanuts, they are all experienced professional technical sales people, they make from $80K to $120, if they don't bring in 1 M each, they have to go, otherwise, I have to go. Sometime I quiestion my choice, spend 6 month working on one account, lots of leg work, lots of brain, lots of competition, whether I should go and sale something larger volumn and cheaper. Tell me a little bit more about your business. I am interested to learn from other people's success.
