I really do not see the need to make such a big fuss over a private issue. If someone wants to go back, fine, go ahead. If another person wants to stay in US, it is none of my business. Why do people have to worry and judge others' action which does not direcly affect them at all?
I, for one, will be returning to China. I am actively preparing now, and there are a number of options. I agree that it is a difficult decision to make, especially when family, kids education, and environment factors are all mixed together.
Everyone has his/her own goal of life. Some people want the stability and contend to be average, while others want to be leaders. In order to fulfill the goal, different approaches can be taken. This will include the decision of going back or not. People make the choice to achieve their own goals. Simple and straight. I respect those who stay here, and I also understand those who go back. Every case is unique and generalization works in principle but never on a single person...
The fact of staying here or going to China does not indicate any of the following: 1) those who go back cannot survive here; 2) those stay here cannot survive in China;
It is all personal choice!
